EPISODE 91: SOPHIE HUDSON!
Do y’all know how much we love Sophie? I mean, you can probably tell based on how we either cackle at everything she says or soak it up like a parched sponge. But honestly, WE LOVE SOPHIE. Talking with her is like sitting down with a friend you’ve had for decades and you pick up right where you left off…and even though it’s been about a year and a half since we chatted with her last, it was as if no time had passed at all.
And I think it felt that way to her because her foot was broken again, just like it was during our last chat. Poor Sophie.
Sophie’s newest book releases TODAY, Y’ALL, and you’re going to want to run out and get a copy for you and several to give away because it is so rich. It’s called Giddy Up, Eunice: Because Women Need Each Other, and in it she celebrates the way God brings women together of all generations, seasons of life and backgrounds…and how He does it ON PURPOSE and FOR PURPOSE. Sara and Monica were able to hear the very beginning thoughts of this book a couple of years ago at the Allume Conference, and to this day it remains one of the favorite messages they both have ever heard. And how often do you remember in detail a sermon or teaching topic? I mean, COME ON.
