BE IN THE WORD:

Proverbs 31:10-12, 23

10 A wife of noble character who can find? (Who can find a virtuous woman?) She is worth far      more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.

23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

BE EDUCATED:

BE DOERS, NOT JUST HEARERS:

  1. If you’re married, honestly answer the question: Can my husband trust me with his heart? Does he feel safe and secure with me? Is he empowered because of my trust in him? If the answer is no, ask God to shine light on the places in your heart that prevent you from being the blessing you could be.
  2. If you’re not married yet, make a list of the being characteristics you want in your future (if you desire) husband. Not a list of doing things – it doesn’t matter his height, job, washboard abs. Make a list of his character. His integrity. Write out what’s vital for you, and pray over that should God will, He bring that person to you in His perfect timing.
