EPISODE 163: BELIEVE
BE IN THE WORD:
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:4-6)
BE EDUCATED:
- Bible Study Tools Understanding Ps 23:4-6 Bible Study Tools explains verse by verse through the eyes of biblical scholars the meaning of these verses and how they can impact one’s life.
- A Study on the Word: Believe Joe McGee brings simple words to understanding the meaning of the word “Believe” as it relates to the Bible.
BE DOERS, NOT JUST HEARERS:
- Do you live like you believe? Is it time to move from saying you believe to living like you believe?
- Are you looking at the bridge or walking over the bridge? Ask the Lord to give you the confidence to believe. Even the parent with the dying child cried out “I believe, help me to believe!”
- Call your fear out in the moment and take it captive. Try to journal those moments you recognized your fear and called it out.
- Put sticky notes all around the house that simply read “Believe.” As a man thinketh so is he!
