EPISODE 97: BE SUSTAINED
BE IN THE WORD (This Week’s Verses):
“Cast your burden on the Lord and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be moved.” (Psalm 55:22)
“I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging for bread.” (Psalm 37:25)
“My grace is sufficient for you.” (2 Cor 12:9)
“Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed.” (Psalm 119:116)
BE EDUCATED (Additional Resources):
1. How can I turn all my worries and problems over to God? Wonderful article from Got Questions with practical advice and scripture on how to let God take your worries!
2. He Will Sustain You. Beautiful post by Ryan Huguley on how God sustains us!
BE DOERS, NOT JUST HEARERS (Practical Application):
1. Ask a close friend or family member where they think you need to allow God to sustain you. Sometimes those close to us see things clearer than we do!
2. Identify someone in your life who needs to let go and allow God to sustain them. Buy them a visible reminder of God’s nourishment, sustenance and carrying as a symbol for them to allow God to be the one to sustain them. It could be a plant, a loaf of hearty bread, fancy bottle of water, or anything else you can think of!
